Absolutely! Dallas offers an array of activities for family members of all ages. Please see the "Experience Dallas, Experience Southwest Veterinary Symposium 2008" brochure for suggestions of ways to experience Dallas.
The billing address is required to verify payment information and if for any reason a refund is due. The mailing address is critical to receive your pre-registered mailing which includes your name badge.
Registration fees are not deductible as charitable contributions for income tax purposes. However, such contributions and fees may be deductible by attendees under other provisions of the IRS code. Please check with your financial advisor.
Yes. Simply go through the online registration process, follow the instructions, submit your registration, and mail in your check within five business days.
For efficiency purposes, our preferred method of sending confirmations and important information is by email. If you do not have an email address, don't worry, we can send a confirmation in the mail. Please allow 6 business days to receive your mailed confirmation. If you are considering an Interactive Lab or Meet the Expert Luncheon session with limited space you may want to register online. With manual processing of forms through the mail or fax there is a chance you may not get your first selections. We respect your privacy and will not sell your name or send unsolicited emails to you.
Your name badge will have your contact information encoded in it, which most exhibitors can scan so you don’t have to carry as many. Do bring some, however, to share with new friends and colleagues.
Due to the hands-on learning in small group settings in the labs you must register for the conference, either 4-day or 1-day, and on the day the lab is scheduled, to attend Interactive Labs.
Registration to SWVS is not required to attend the Design Conference or the Pet First Aid Development Workshop.
Evening Continuing Education sessions are offered Thursday - Saturday from 7:00 - 9:50 pm allowing you to obtain up to 9 hours of CE credit. Special pricing for DVMs for those twilight sessions is listed on the Registration page of this site.
Of course, we would love your attendance! Call SWVS at 972-664-9800 for details.
Check www.swvs.org or contact your state VMA. This information will also be available on-site.
We invite all veterinary school alumni and current veterinary school students to join us at the annual DVM Alumni/DVM Student Reception. SWVS is about partnerships and we encourage you to maintain your personal partnerships with old schoolmates and colleagues through our receptions.
