The SWVS Hospitality Center will be serving complimentary refreshments Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 – 8:00 am.

Prize Drawings

Come one, come all, to the SWVS Exhibit Hall, where we will give away nearly $10,000 in prizes!

All attendees registered by August 24 are entered into SWVS Prize Drawings. Additional entries are added for every $100 spent in the Exhibit Hall. Prizes include a shopping spree on the Exhibit Hall floor, free registration to SWVS 2013, and a Grand Prize Package which consist of registration to SWVS 2013 with travel expenses, hotel accommodations, plus a shopping spree on the Exhibit Hall floor. Drawings will take place in the Exhibit Hall during scheduled breaks and lunch. All attendees must be present to win.

Technicians/Hospital Personnel Prizes

• Two $500 shopping sprees
• Grand Prize Drawing: $500 shopping spree and one complimentary registration to attend SWVS 2013

DVM Prizes

• $1,500 shopping spree
• $2,000 shopping spree
• Grand Prize Drawing: $3,000 shopping spree and SWVS 2013 package (travel to SWVS in San Antonio, three nights lodging, and one complimentary registration)

Prize Drawing Rules

DVMs and technicians/hospital personnel will automatically be entered in the Prize Drawing upon their paid registration by August 24. Participation is restricted to DVMs and technicians/hospital personnel 21 years or older. Members of the SWVS Managing Board of Directors/CE Committee Members, SWVS staff, and anyone employed or contracted by an exhibiting company are not eligible to enter.

• No cash will be given.
• Only one prize per person.
• Must be present to win.
• Name on receipt(s) used to redeem additional entries will be used on tickets.

Please allow a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the scheduled drawing time to submit your request for additional tickets based on any purchases made on the exhibit floor.

Winners must purchase all equipment/supplies/products, etc, by 1:30 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012. Odds of winning depend solely on the number of DVM and technician/hospital personnel registrants and the additional tickets available based on purchases on the exhibit floor.

Prize drawings that consist of a shopping spree must be used on the exhibit floor in the amount indicated less state tax paid. Travel expenses consist of either one coach airline ticket (airline will be at the discretion of SWVS) or the equivalent mileage costs from the winner's destination city (listed on the registration form) at the current IRS mileage allowances, whichever is less.

Photo Contest

Do You Know an Animal That Craves the Spotlight?

Bring your favorite animal photo to the Symposium. Photos can be submitted online before the Symposium or turned in on-site at the Registration Desk. Entries will be displayed near the Registration Desk for all to see. This is a chance for your photograph to earn a spot in next year's promotional materials. The 2011 Photo Contest winner is pictured to the left. Congratulations, Kathy Sultemeier, DVM, on your win that includes complimentary registration to SWVS 2012!

SWVS Photo Contest Rules

• Open to all paid registered attendees.
• Maximum of three photographs per paid registrant.
• Photographs must be provided in hard copy unless submitted online. Photographs cannot be larger than 8x10".
• Photographs must include at least one animal.
• No animals can be harmed in any way in the taking of photographs.
• Hard copies are to be brought on-site to SWVS registration. No mailed copies can be accepted.
• Photographs will be accepted at registration from Thursday, September 20, 11:00 am until Saturday, September 22, 1:00 pm.
• Photographs will become property of SWVS. You give permission for SWVS to use the images in future SWVS marketing materials.
• The official SWVS Photo Contest judge is the SWVS Executive Committee.
• Employees and their relatives, Board of Managers and Continuing Education Committee members of SWVS are not eligible.
• The winner will receive complimentary registration to SWVS 2013.
