Directions & ParkingThe Dallas Convention Center is located in downtown Dallas, surrounded by great shops, restaurants and museums. View Driving Directions The Dallas Convention Center has two separate parking garages and three parking lots. Parking charge is $12.00 per entry vehicle, no in or out. View Parking Details Airport Shuttle Service: Go! Yellow Checker Shuttle, (972) 222-2000 or (214) 841-1900, is the official SWVS Shuttle Service provided to and from both DFW International & Love Field Airports. Click here to view discounts and to make reservations. DFW International Airport is approximately 22 miles from the Dallas Convention Center with a travel time of approximately 26 minutes by car. Taxis: Taxi service is available on the upper level of Terminals A, B, C and E, and on the lower level of Terminal D. An Airport Guest Assistant will be available at the taxi stands between 8:00 am – 12:00 Midnight. Between 12:00 Midnight – 8:00 am, dial (972) 574-5878 to request a taxi. View Taxi Rates Public Transportation: Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) and Fort Worth's The T offer rail service to DFW Airport from Dallas and Fort Worth via the Trinity Railway Express (TRE). Scheduled rail service is provided Monday thru Saturday with a single-trip ticket fare of $3.50. For more information, call 214 979 1111 or visit www.trinityrailwayexpress.org. The Dallas Love Field Airport is approximately 8 miles from the Dallas Convention Center with a travel time of approximately 17 minutes by car. Taxis: Taxi Cab service is provided on the upper level across the street from the baggage claim wing of the main terminal building.

Continuing Education Credit InformationMore than 375 hours of quality continuing education courses are offered at SWVS 2012. A maximum of 29 credit hours are available during the general Symposium. Additional credit hours are available. Please check with your state veterinary medical licensing board for specifi c continuing education allowances and requirements. View complete details.
LunchLunch Bucks (valued at $15.00) will be provided to all registered professional attendees for Friday and Saturday to purchase food and beverages in the Exhibit Hall. The Lunch Bucks are to be used at the SWVS Concessions located inside the Exhibit Hall. These concessions serve a variety of food & combos, snacks, pastries, and beverages daily during the conference. The SWVS Lunch Bucks can also be exchanged for a box lunch served during the Exhibitor Satellite Sessions held from 12:30 – 1:30 pm on Friday and Saturday.
GuestsDallas is a safe and family-friendly city, and SWVS invites you to make this your annual family event. Guests, spouses and children are all welcome at SWVS 2012! Guest/Spouse tickets are only $40 each and must be a family member or a guest who is not a veterinarian, veterinary technician, office staff, or practice manager. Children 17 years and under do not need a name badge but must accompany a registered attendee at SWVS 2012 events. Find out more on what to do in Dallas.

SWVS Concessions – Lunch in the Exhibit HallLunch Bucks (valued at $15.00) will be provided to all registered professional attendees for Friday and Saturday to purchase food and beverages at SWVS Concessions located in the Exhibit Hall. SWVS Concessions serves concessions daily during the conference. You can choose from a variety of menus, including hamburgers, hot dogs, deli sandwiches, wraps, as well as salads, fruits, and other snacks. SWVS Concessions accepts Lunch Bucks, cash, and major credit cards (American Express, MasterCard, and Visa). The SWVS Lunch Bucks can also be exchanged for a box lunch served during the Exhibitor Satellite Sessions held from 12:30 – 1:30 pm on Friday and Saturday. About SWVSWho Is SWVS? The annual symposium is held each fall in the Southwest and includes continuing education, exhibits, interactive labs, and social activities.
