SWVS is a CE provider and offers more than 375 hours of quality continuing education courses for veterinary professionals. SWVS is owned by 5 partner state VMAs each of which is an affiliate of the AVMA. These state veterinary medical exam boards accept/approve SWVS for CE credit. Registrants from other states should check with their state Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners regarding approval of SWVS CE.

A total of 29 continuing education credit hours are available for the SWVS General Symposium. Additional hours are available as listed below. In addition, DVMs licensed in Arkansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas may claim 2 hours of CE for visiting the SWVS Exhibit Hall.
